In reference to some comments on my Lupita Nyong’o oil painting piece, I would like to mention that I in fact did have to make her skin tone way darker. I recognize the mistake! I fully understand the importance. I should have given it some more thought before I posted the image. I’m still experimenting with skin color tones, but I assure you that the mistake will not be present in painting #3. I appreciate constructive criticism.

Thank you for the incredible amount of notes!

Peace and love,
Melissa

The lovely lady @iokec released an original poetry book titled "8" (also pronounced infinity). I would be lying if I said she had no influence on my life whatsoever. She’s true to the core, intelligent, enlightened and inspiring. Be wonderful and buy her book on her re-launched blog -> iokec.com
”8 (infinity) is filled with passion, emotion and plenty of aspirations. Writing this book I was escaping my depression and wanted to help others who was feeling down. This book is filled poetry, a few motivational quotes and thoughts.””Follow my moves, follow my hipsTrace my movements, feed me kisses laced in sins.”
